I want to thank you for sending your repairman, Keith, here to fix my furnace so quickly. It was very cold that day and he knew what was wrong right away. He said he would be back when it was warmer and we have had a few of those days. He sent another man last week to get under the house and do the work. Thank you and these men for getting the heat back on and doing the repair work.

Dear Mr. Dennis,

It has been more than 25 years since you went to my other home to quote a new heating system for one that had quit working. You put in the two systems in this house when I built it and have serviced both of them ever since that time.

This past summer, Mike Molnar told me about the coil in the air handler in the upstairs heat pump that required the system to be replaced. No one ever wants to hear that their system has to be replaced or have to spend the money for a new one. Never the less, it had to be done and I met with Keith in August, picked out a system that would work and that I would enjoy.

It has now been 3 months since my October installation. Richard and Dave showed up first thing in the morning on the day we agreed upon, October 7, 2013. I was told that it would take 2 days for the installation and what to expect. Keith showed up with and everyone got to work while I happily left the noise and work to go to my work. I now work half days, so when I got home at 1:00 pm, I was pleased to hear from Richard that he and Dave would have the air conditioning working before they left that afternoon. The next morning, the installers had everything completed and went across the street to do a job for my neighbors.

You now have the background of my experience, but I want to tell you more. I so trust Mike Molnar that is recommendation for a new unit was important to me. Mike takes care of the units here so that I am very pleased with their performance. On the few times when I have had a problem, he took the time to explain what was happening, why and what he had to do to make it work. That is important to me. I want to understand what is happening and why. One time the unit was making a noise and of course it didn't do it when another tech came out (Mike was not available). I got Debbie's email address and did a video that allowed you to hear the noise. Mike diagnosed the problem and by the time I got home the next day from work, it was fixed! You have one very exceptional employee in Mike. He is so good with the clients and amazing at diagnosing and fixing units.

Next, I want to thank Keith for his professionalism in the quoting process, how he tried to find the best unit at the best price and to make sure that my wishes could be included. He was there after the installation as well to make sure all was done and that I was happy.

Richard and Dave were very good installers. Both were pleasant, helpful and Richard who seems to be the client ambassador, stopped by the house after working on my neighbor's house to be sure that I was happy with everything. Both he and Dave made sure that the thermostat did not remain bright all of the time (it is near my bed) and showed me how to work it.

Debbie and Ruth Ann worked with me and Keith to make sure that an installation date would work for me and allowed for me to be at home at the beginning of the installation. I appreciate both of their assistance. I usually speak with Debbie when setting up my preventive maintenance. She always sounds so happy and pleasant and willing to make the appointment when the client can be there.

Mr. Curtis, thank you and all your staff for the years of exceptional service. After 3 months with this new unit, I am more satisfied than I would have imagined. I hope it continues to service me as well as the staff of Mid-Atlantic has done over the past years.

Please accept our thanks and appreciation to you and your team at Mid-Atlantic heating & Air Conditioning for the recent installation of a gas-fired Buderus boiler and associated equipment at our house at ********************** in Salisbury. From our first phone call to completion of the installation, our experience with your staff has been both extremely pleasant and highly professional.

General Manager Keith Owens is an enthusiastic, engaging, and extremely competent professional. He made a detailed study of our home's heating requirements, and then researched the technical solution that would best meet our needs. We had complete confidence in his recommendation, and we appreciated his constant availability to answer questions as the installation progressed.

We can't say enough about Installation Technicians Paul and Shane. They are cheerful, efficient, and professional craftsmen, a reassuring reminder that there was a time in this country when people could be trusted to do their very best, and took pride in their work. Their ingenuity enabled them to remove the existing oil furnace as a unit--watching them get it up the steps and out of the house without so much as a scuff on the wall was a demonstration of practical teamwork. At every point in the installation of the new  equipment they exhibited careful, systematic, detailed craftsmanship. At one point, through their contacts, they were able to find exactly the right coupling to facilitate connection of new piping to 85-year old piping-- the end result looks like it was designed that way from the beginning. They left our basement cleaner than when they first arrived, and went above and beyond at every step.

Service Coordinator Deborah Bradley has been an absolute pleasure to work with. It was always a delight to speak with her, and we knew we could have complete confidence in the accuracy of her information-- when Debbie told us something, we knew it was (or would be) just as she said.

Although we had fewer interactions with Office Manager Ruth Anne, she too was friendly and a pleasure to speak with. It was clear she exercised great influence over the smooth running of the administrative team. Correspondence, accounting and the efficient communication of key information were a tribute to her leadership, and contributed to a smooth process from start to finish.

We look forward to maintaining our relationship with Mid-Atlantic as we explore options for a more efficient air conditioning system in our old house.

Just a note to let you know how satisfied I am concerning my recent service. It happened to be the hottest weekend of the year. From the time I called until the completion of my service was less than two hours. The timeliness, professionalism, and quality of work displayed by Mike was second to none.

"No worries" was a term you mentioned in answer to one of my many questions. Pretty good description of my experience---

No worries about getting good options/recommendations.

No worries about a professional installation an engineer would envy.

No worries about a crew that treats your home as if it was their home.

No worries about a crew alerting you to roof issues when they spot 'daylight' around vents.

No worries if your outside electrical outlet should be replaced/repositioned ('it shouldn't be low to the ground like this nor restricted by your fence')

No worries if you have lint in your dryer vent.

No worries if you happen to have lost a valued earring!

No worries about filing for rebates.

My appreciation and compliments to Mid-Atlantic for a job well done!

Dear Keith,

I wanted to express my gratitude to you and, most especially, your staff. During a routine boiler PM, Mark (I believe) discovered that our furnace was leaking water and we were told it was severe enough that we were required to replace it. As you can imagine, not the best news for homeowners. The level of customer service was excellent; within 24 hours you were able to provide quotes for both an oil boiler and propane boiler. While the propane was more expensive; we relied on your expertise and advice to choose that option. You were even able to get your distributor to deliver (overnight) a new propane boiler so that work could commence the next day – that shows us that excellent customer service extends beyond the parent company. The staff (Mark, Paul, Shane, and eventually Mike) showed tremendous professionalism and proficiency. I could tell that each had their own niche but worked together as a team to provide efficient service. It took no time to see that each of them was empathetic to our needs as they often worked uninterrupted – eating lunch at our residence to save time. I commend Paul as he responded on a Saturday and spent the entire day and part of an evening to complete the project to a point in which we had heat and domestic hot water – had been without for three days prior. I realize how difficult it is to sacrifice family time and selflessly extend that to a customer. Although Mike may have been on-call; he too responded promptly and was pretty much immediately able to offer his knowledge and get our new boiler up and running.

As a long-time customer of Mid-Atlantic, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the professionalism of three of your employees. Late this past March, I met with Keith Owens to discuss estimates for replacing my 27 year old HVAC system. Mr. Owens presented the three options of the Carrier system, explaining the strengths and weaknesses of each. In addition, he explained strategies in considering rebates and tax credits with each of these options. At no time did Mr. Owens pressure me toward choosing one system over another. The clarity of his presentation made my decision relatively easy. I chose the "infinity" system. Demolition of my old HVAC system, plus that of a secondary wood burning furnace, and the installation of the new system began the second week of May. The two technicians, David Earp and Shane Howard were also very professional. During the days that they were at my home, both men were courteous and informative, responding to my many questions regarding the new HVAC system, allowing me to understand the breadth of their knowledge of this system. The high level of their work ethic was evidenced by the care they took in making sure that this installation met my requirements for being (hidden) within the living space of my "working" basement. In addition, their daily working spaces were cleaned and left uncluttered at the end of the day. This was particularly appreciated by my wife. We are extremely pleased with their professionalism. I have waited to correspond to you so I could be assured that the new Carrier HVAC system was working adequately. During the summer season, we experienced an air conditioning system that maintained an equilibrium of temperature that was extremely comfortable and quiet. We are expecting similar results during the impending heating season. All-in-all, the Carrier Infinity HVAC system has exceeded all of our expectations.
